Moravian missionary and nonfiction author Christian Frederick Post emigrated to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1742, and spent his life traveling around the state. A devout man, connected with local Native American tribes by learning and respecting their language and culture. He was instrumental in the communication and peace negotiations between several tribes and the Governor of the state during the French and Indian War. Read more here.
